Group Program Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between the two cohorts (groups)?

Both groups follow the same foundational 12-week curriculum. The Wholistic Hormone Healing path focuses more on regulating cycles, removing the barriers to optimal hormone function, and restoring daily vitality through lifestyle and high quality education. The Conscious Conception group includes special modules for those preparing the body for pregnancy (now or in the future). Both cohorts will have their own private community space, which you can opt in to be part of one or both.

What kind of health concerns may benefit from this approach?

This program was designed to support women and people with a uterus who are in their bleeding (menstruating) years. Those with the following conditions will find the information relevant: PCOS, fibroids, post-partum depression and burnout, traumatic birth experiences, breast health prevention, thyroid concerns, endometriosis, inability to conceive, unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriages, premature ovarian failure, anovulatory cycles, amenorrhea, menstrual spotting, heavy menses, painful menses, low libido, fatigue, abdominal bloating, irregular menses, pelvic pain, abnormal paps, ovarian and uterine cancer prevention, chronic abnormal vaginal discharge, reproductive cancer prevention, uterine adenomas and other growths, pituitary micro-adenomas, PMS, PMDD, mood swings, chronic UTIs and vaginal yeast infections, feeling disconnected to yourself and body and a history of sexual trauma. This list is comprehensive but not exhaustive. If you experience an endocrine, uterine, pelvic or reproductive health concern, including surgical removal of related organs, and are curious if this methodology is a good match for you, please email us via the contact section on our websites.

I’ve never done a group program before, and am hesitant about this kind of participation. Any advice?

You can choose to participate as much or as little as you feel called. We rarely lean into group healing in conventional medicine, always assuming the stance of “individual care”. Hormone, pelvic and menstrual related health concerns are very common. This points us to the realization that we are healing through something that is bigger than ourselves. By healing in a group it allows the community to support us, to lift the pressure of having to do it “all on your own”. To facilitate harmonious group dynamics there are clear guidelines and frameworks to support participants.

I am in my menopausal years, is this course right for me?

It depends on what your goals and needs are. There are special modules on moving through the peri-menopause years, however they are not the main focus of this program. If you are no longer in your bleeding years (have stopped menstruating), this course may not be as impactful for you. We will explore menstruation lifestyle approaches in depth, and thus, it is up to you whether you will find this valuable. Please send us a message and we can discuss further, so you can make an informed decision.

I am a trans or non-binary, is this course right for me?

This course was designed for people born with a uterus. This course illuminates the path of the feminine in a very concrete way, and we will thoroughly explore uterus/ovary/breast/pelvic anatomy and how to care for it. The information is tailored to provide education for people in their menstruating years and much of the education can be tied to this. Please send us a message and we can discuss further so you can make an informed decision.

How much time should I expect to set aside each week?

You’ll want to set aside 1–2 hours per week for learning and reflection, plus one hour every few weeks for the live sessions. You’ll have lifetime access to the content, so you can revisit anything at your own pace.

What topics will be covered?

Each week a new module will open. We start with rooting into key naturopathic philosophies that you will utilize throughout the journey and pair this with a thorough health history roadmap. Then we’ll take a deep dive into your fantastic physiology from multiple angles. We’ll cover herbal medicine, diet considerations, environmental detox and more subtle energetic concepts relevant to the pelvis and womb space. In short, this is a collection of my most high yield information in a clinical context and what has been pivotal in my own hormone healing journey.

Will we be doing lab testing?

No, we will not be doing labs in this cohort. I am open to the possibility of doing this in a group context if there is enough interest, as an optional add-on. My one-on-one care always includes comprehensive testing. My hope is to introduce you to the foundational approaches needed for hormone healing, where with time and practice, supplements and lab testing become less of a priority and are used with laser focus when called for.

We will be learning about what supplements to take?

We will explore working with plant medicines in relation to your cycle as well as my approach to food as medicine. In the environmental detox section I will talk about a few key nutrients, but for the most part supplements are a refinement (in my opinion), best suited in the context of 1:1 care. There is so much juicy information and practices to sink into that you’ll find supplementation will become less of a priority for you over time.

What if I am not sure which cohort is for me?

Consider which path is your priority right now. Remember, you'll have access to the entire curriculum so you won't miss out on information if you choose one and then want to go deeper. If you are feeling unsure, please email us via the contact section on our websites and we’ll help you find your fit.

Is this a replacement for medical care?

No. This program is meant to complement—not replace—individualized medical advice. Always check with your health provider before making care decisions. Those undergoing active care with a professional will find this program a supportive adjunct, including those who have a naturopath, family doctor, gynaecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist on their health team.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. If you "give it your all" for 30 days and are not happy with the curriculum and overall experience, we will refund your total purchase amount minus an administration fee.

I experience significant financial barriers, is there a possibility of assistance?

Yes. One scholarship is awarded per cohort. You can apply here.

What if I cannot make it to a live Q&A session?

All live sessions will be recorded and you can submit your questions ahead of time so you won't miss a beat!

Is this course compatible with someone who is undergoing advanced reproductive therapies (ART) like IUI or IVF?

Yes, absolutely. Your situation has been carefully considered throughout the modules included in the Conscious Conception Cohort.
