How It Works

  • Reserve your spot via our online booking portal. On the day of the welcome call you’ll receive a detailed invoice. This is considered a naturopathic service and may be eligible for coverage from your employer health benefits. (You may also be eligible for direct billing!)

  • Let’s eat our lunch together and get organized for the journey ahead. We’ll connect virtually for 20 mins via zoom. You’ll be sent the link after successfully registering for the Learning Lab.

  • Get out your calendar and click through our easy to use booking platform. This is an in-person visit at my clinic, The Health Creation Lab.

  • A requisition will be provided for LifeLabs. Book ahead online or walk-in appointments available. You will receive a copy of your results.

  • Enjoy self-paced learning modules so you can master skills to meet your goals. You’ll enjoy lifetime access to this material.

  • We’ll be exploring lab results as a group to enhance learning and maximize accessibility. We’ll be connecting virtually and the session will be recording in case you can’t join live.

  • Personalize your hormone healing journey with a virtual coaching session.

FAQs

Can I use my health benefits?

Yes! Learning Labs were specifically designed for people looking to use their health insurance dollars. You may be eligible for direct billing. You’ll be able to share your insurance details in your health history form.

Does OHIP cover the cost of the lab testing?

No. When naturopathic doctors requisition labs, they are not covered by OHIP.

Can I ask my medical doctor to requisition the labs so I don’t have to pay for them?

For most people, No. Your doctor likely different ways of approaching labs than I do, and so it is best to talk to them about what testing they think is relevant for your current experience.

Does health insurance cover lab testing?

Unfortunately, most insurance providers do not provide coverage for lab testing.

I don’t live in Ontario, can I participate?

Not at this time. The physical exam is in person and requisitions are only available for Ontario LifeLabs locations.
